Ukrainian Crypto Trader Konstantin Galish Dies After $30 Million Market Loss

Konstantin Galish, a Ukrainian crypto trader and co-founder of Cryptology Key, has died.

The 32-year-old trader, known online as Kostya Kudo, was found dead in his Lamborghini Urus in Kyiv’s Obolonsky district on October 11, 2025, according to reports. according to reports.

Galish died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. His death occurred hours after he lost at least $30 million in investor funds when the announcement of a 100% China tariff by Trump caused the crypto market to tank.

Altcoins got destroyed, with prices down 80-95%. Liquidations were hitting everywhere. Liquidations were widespread, and Galish’s leveraged positions collapsed.

Here’s the wild part: he was managing around $65 million through Cryptology Key. He was 32 years old. That came from Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate. The rest was Kyiv officials and other well-connected folks.

Galish, born in 1993, had established a solid reputation as one of Ukraine’s top crypto traders. His early investments in Solana and Avalanche contributed to his success.

Before he died, Galish sent out a farewell note, discussing his financial troubles and personal issues. His last social media post the day before highlighted the financial situation.

Galish also had a patriotic side, having donated millions to Ukraine’s military over the years.

Police are investigating everything now. They’re looking at whether there was extortion involved, checking out his security connections. With intelligence agency money involved, this case has layers to it.
